Business Support Engineer, RAN SME
Job Description
The main activities of the RAN Business Support Function will be to support Airtel RAN customer complains quick resolutions , improve revenue and act as Subject Matter Expert to support Regional Operation on ZTE RAN technology
In addition, the successful candidate will also Support in design, monitoring, troubleshooting, wireless networking, configuration, routing, and load balancers. Strong ability to lead a RAN team, communicate with all levels of the organization, and anticipate potential problems, and solutions for potential and occurring issues, is required. This is a fast pace environment that require quick thinking, and rapid solutions. .
Other job objectives will also include:
RAN Implementation & Support – Maintains and implement RAN “BSC/RNC/Node B/RBS” environment by providing onsite hardware and software system support; identifying system improvements; upgrading, installing, and configuring systems; monitoring system performance.
Support to reach quality performance of RAN equipment in Airtel network
RAN Planning & Optimization – Coordinates with Planning, Optimization and Performance section for all required configuration changes.

Network Operations – Manage all network operation and maintenance tasks related RAN for Airtel Network.

The job is located in Lagos and other requirements include;
Relevant Skill and Experience
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications
A minimum of 8 years work experience in the Telecoms environment and ZTE expert level of proficiency is highly required.
Must have good and strong telecommunications radio knowledge in RAN domain
Good Knowledge on network evolution and standards bodies 3GPP, ITU.
Good Knowledge on IP Networking and design
Good knowledge about RAN design and dimensioning.
Knowledge about Airtel business processes and organization.

Role Overview

Programme Officer; Legislation and Institutional Strengthening
UN Women, grounded in the vision of equality enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls; the empowerment of women; and the achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action and peace and security.
The Spotlight Initiative is a global partnership between the United Nations (UN) and the European Union (EU) to eliminate all forms of violence against women and girls in support of the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development. It was launched in September 2017 by the UN Secretary-General and the EU High Representative and Vice President (HRVP). The 500 million Euro Initiative provides a model for partnerships with donors, civil society, and the UN to deliver on the SDGs in a comprehensive manner leveraging comparative expertise. SDG 5 and the achievement of gender equality are placed at the centre of efforts (alongside Goal 16) with the aim to provide an enabling environment for the implementation of all goals. Within the UN, the Initiative will operationalize the UN development system reforms and model a new way of delivering on the SDGs in an integrated way, leveraging collaborative advantages. Three Core Agencies: UNDP (the United Nations Development Programme, the United Nations Population (UNFPA) and UN Women) will work together with other UN agencies to make large-scale investments in priority countries.
Reporting to Programme Specialist- Technical Coherence, Spotlight Initiative the Programme officer contributes to the effective engagements and delivery of the outcomes on legislation and institutional strengthening for the spotlight programmes. He or she also provides substantive inputs to programme design, formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Adjustments of asset and inventory as required
Adjust the records for scrapping of items as required. Assist in branches in the correct use of scrap procedure

5)⊕ Well Services Field Supervisor III

Job Scope
Field supervisor responsible for operating TT tools at the well site.
The field supervisor will act as a mentor for junior/trainee field persons whenever possible.
While not in the field this role requires the supervisor to assist in shop operations including but not limited to mentoring junior staff, shop staff and assisting the TT manager and or coordinator as needed.
This role may also require shop based work including but not limited to helping load out jobs, test, repair and maintain equipment when requested by TT manager and or coordinator.
This role also requires that the supervisor participates in all required online and offline reporting.
While not in the field the supervisor will report to the shop each morning and participate in daily shop activities 8am to 5pm unless otherwise agreed by the TT manager.
This role may also require the supervisor to attend client meetings.

Qualifications
Petroleum, Mechanical or similar academic Degree
At least 5 years (Thru Tubing Specific experience) or 100 recorded TT field jobs completed.
Some formal TT training either at Weatherford or other TT Companies preferred.
