Job Functions
Communications,Coordinator, Executive Management, Project Management, Public Relations, Secretary.
Correspondence and Document:
Prepare and preview hard copy and electronic mails on behalf of the CEO; provide accuracy checks on basic data and documents requiring the CEO’ signature
Sort and distribute the CEO’s mails and memos
Prepare and arrange the collation & biding of documents for presentations as directed
Ensure all documentation is appropriately filed for ease of reference and efficient retrieval
Calendar Management:
Pro-actively coordinate, monitor and manage CEO’s personal appointments and diary
Meeting Management:
Take and distribute Minutes of Meetings when required
Answer telephone calls directed to the CEO’s Office and take messages
Answer all enquiries efficiently and effectively
Provide support to the officers responsible regarding the organization and coordination of internal/external meetings or events
Work continuously to promote the culture of excellent customer service in supporting the Chief Executive Officer achievement of desired objectives
Customer Responsiveness:
Courtesy in dealing with internal staff, external customers and vendors
Expense Management:
Operate efficiently at lowest cost; staying within approved budgets, establish appropriate reporting and control procedures
Decision Making/Problem Solving:
Quick understanding of most relevant problems and the ability to proffer timely, practical decisions
Ensure efficient use and management of the Reception & Reception Corner and Conference Room
Proactive management of the CEO’s personal itinerary (meals & refreshments, personal visitors, family/friends’ birthday & other celebration notifications, reminders and co-ordination of family events, etc.)
Efficient running of the CEO’s Office; overseeing its’ cleanliness, orderliness and ensuring there is always a sufficient supply of office supplies and stationery
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field with at least 5 years of proven experience providing executive support in a structured organization
Membership of ICSAN, CIA is an added advantage
Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including Board of Directors, Senior Management Team and external partners
Understanding business functions and metrics within the Organization
Expert level written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
Able to work within a team as well as alone with little or no supervision

The Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme (P-YES) is structured as a Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative driven by the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Youth and Students Affairs (OSAPYSA). The program is targeted at providing solutions to the challenges of youth unemployment, through the execution of direct empowerment initiatives.

The Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme (P-YES) GOALS
The Presidential Youth Empowerment Scheme (P-YES) has been conceived and designed to:
Fight and reduce unemployment among Nigerian youth by creating at least 774,000 empowerment opportunities.
Train and empower youth to have the capacity to empower at least on other youth within his/her immediate community.
Help achieve the financial inclusion strategy of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Enhance production, productivity and value addition for new and existing urban and rural entrepreneurs across the 774 Local Government Areas in Nigeria on a sustainable basis.
Consolidate and integrate youth development into the main stream of government policies, programmes and the national budget.
Build the capacity of the youth to enable them take charge of their own wellbeing and future by building their assets and realizing their potentials.
To integrate the youth into the Economic Diversification policy of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Create wealth among the growing youth population.
Guarantee sustained income for the target group.
Fight the scourge of criminality and drug abuse among the youth by empowering them to be productively engaged.
Contribute to GDP growth through the development of Micro, Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (MSMEs).
The youth will undergo training in multiple vocations such as agriculture, Information technology, fashion, catering, technology acquisition and many other stategic vocations
Successful trainees will be equipped with Seed Empowerment Tools (SET)s such as rice mills, poultry accessories, branded mobile kiosks, farm implements, mobile restaurants, tents, photography units etc.
P-YES Operation Framework
The scheme is to be administered under the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, and coordinated by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Youth and Students Affairs.
Seed Empowerment Tools (SET):
Youth will undergo training and practical skills acquisition programmes in multiple vocations. The beneficiaries will be given Seed Empowerment Tools (SET), which they are expected to grow and further empower other members of their community.
P-YES Seed Incubation Programme:
The P-YES Seed Incubation Programme (PSIP) is anchored on the principle of two for one. That is, each of the 774,000 beneficiaries is expected to reproduce at least one beneficiary over a period of 12 months after being empowered with a seed business tool.
Requirements for Application
The scheme will be accessible to the literate, semi-literate and the non-literate population. The threshold for qualification is set at the basic ability and capacity to learn and be teachable. In addition to the fore going, the following is set as the basic pre-conditions for enlistment:
Applicant must be a Nigerian citizen, male or female between the ages of 18 and 40.
Applicant must have, at least one valid means of identification (National Identity card, International Passport, Permanent Voters Card- PVC).
Applicant must provide a Second Level Beneficiary (SLB) to qualify for benefitting from the scheme.
Ability to communicate in Basic English language and or any local Nigerian language.
Provable upright character and a stable mind.
Applicant must provide a guarantor preferably a community or religious leader.
Ability to secure the endorsement of a local government official.
Beneficiary should posses the capacity to transfer knowledge and mentor pairs within their communities.

Nigeria Army 2019 Massive Recruitment for trades/non-tradesmen and women 

The Nigerian Army has announced the commencement of recruitment into the army for interested Nigerians.
In a statement on Wednesday, it said interested candidates can now apply for trades/non-tradesmen and women categories.
The application windows opened on December 19 and will last until w January 31, 2019.
While the Army emphatically noted that the application is free, it said applicants are expected to be between the ages of 18 to 22 and they can apply through its portal, recruitment.
“This is to announce to the general public that the candidate registration web portal for 78RRI for trades/non-tradesmen and women is now open for interested candidates,” the Army said on Wednesday.

Job Vacancy at New Incentives, 2016

Non-profit New Incentives is looking to recruit on-demand Public Health Enumerators that collect data about immunization coverage and services in North West Nigeria. The enumerators will contribute to data collection efforts to determine the future expansion of the New Incentives Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) program for Routine Immunizations.

The enumerator will work for specific periods of time in states in North West Nigeria (and potentially North Central), collecting data at public health clinics with the approval of the local authorities.

Applicants need to be based in Abuja or North West Nigeria and speak Hausa.


Over the past years, Nigeria has considerably expanded the availability of vaccination services for infants. Despite this progress on the supplyside, demand for vaccinations remains low. New Incentives encourages mothers to fully vaccinate their infants with cash transfers and thereby ensures their babies are protected against deadly diseases.

Collect data on immunization coverage and services at clinics in North West / North Central Nigeria
Liaise with government partners and other stakeholders

Fluency in local languages/dialects spoken in North West Nigeria, especially Hausa. Please state the names of the languages/dialects you speak and your fluency level for each language in your cover letter.
Nigerian national already based in Abuja or North West Nigeria.
Minimum of Higher National Diploma or Bachelor degree, preferably in the field of health or other natural sciences
Previous work experience as an enumerator on immunization services desired
Willingness to work at remote public clinics every day
Experience with the Nigerian health system and clinic documentation, particularly related to infant health and vaccinations
Experience in collecting, synthesizing and drawing conclusions from (health) data desirable
Detailoriented, diligent professional
Very good communications and writing skills, English and dialects (verbal and written)
Excellent responsiveness to email and phone requests
Highly experienced with mobile phones and mobile data collection tools
Hardworking, resultoriented and loyal
